Hundred-year-old purse with iridescent crystals (1900 - 1920)

Betty & Linda bring you one of their best vintage finds.

By doing a thorough investigation we were able to date it to 1900.

Its owner had a lot of respect for it because it is in excellent vintage condition!

Crocheted in olive green with transparent iridescent crystals, you can see the beautiful reflection of the crystals in the last photograph that was taken with the reflectors off. Due to the large number of glass beads, the purse is heavy.

The frame is gold with embossed floral details, crowned by two blue crystals on the closure. The chain is forced style.
